Photos reveal Darryl Young's desperate alibi attempt after triple murder

A series of photographs taken during the trial of Darryl Valroy Young, a 63-year-old grazier, have been released, revealing his attempts to create an alibi after fatally shooting three of his neighbors and injuring a fourth at his Bogie cattle station in 2022.

Young was sentenced to life imprisonment with a non-parole period of 40 years after being found guilty of three murders and one count of attempted murder. The victims were identified as Mervyn Schwarz, 71, Maree Schwarz, 59, and her son Graham Tighe, 35, who were killed at the gate of Young's cattle station on August 4, 2022.
