Socceroos Stun Brazil with 1-0 Victory in Townsville Friendly

The Socceroos took on five-time world champions Brazil in an international friendly match in Townsville, with the home team securing a stunning 1-0 victory.

The match got off to a lively start, with both teams creating chances. However, it was the Socceroos who broke the deadlock in the 68th minute, courtesy of a stunning free kick from Irankunda.

"OH IT DOESN'T GET BETTER THAN THAT! IT JUST DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER!"

The free kick, taken from 20 yards out, was side-footed up and over the wall and into the top corner, leaving the Brazilian goalkeeper with no chance.

He spotted the giant rock of Scotland in his way and felt like he could get around the outside of him to the byline. But Souttar stuck out his leg and deflected the ball behind."
