After a 20-year wait, construction has begun on Bundaberg's newest hotel development, marking a significant milestone for the region's tourism industry.
The 4.5-star, three-storey hotel, located on Airport Drive, will boast 97 rooms and offer a much-needed boost to the local accommodation market.

Bundaberg Regional Council Mayor Helen Blackburn said the demand for accommodation in the region was constantly growing, with a shortfall of 800 beds every night.
