Man still missing in Greenvale area, police warn public
A 44-year-old man has gone missing in the Greenvale area, prompting a police search operation and warnings to the public. Marcus Bismark, who is believed to be armed, was last seen walking along a rural highway on September 12.
A 44-year-old man remains at large in the Greenvale area, sparking concerns for his safety and prompting warnings from police. Marcus Bismark was last seen on September 12, walking along the Gregory Developmental Road, approximately 250 kilometres west of Townsville, after his vehicle broke down.
He is believed to be in possession of a firearm and travelling on foot. Queensland Police have launched a search operation, deploying specialist officers to the area.
According to police, Mr Bismark is described as being around 180 centimetres tall, with a solid build and dark complexion. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing long, black pants and no shirt.
His family has expressed concerns for his welfare due to a medical condition. The public is being cautioned not to approach Mr Bismark, but to report any sightings to Triple Zero (000) immediately.
Police are also appealing for anyone with dash cam footage that may show Mr Bismark in the region to come forward and assist with the search.
