Queensland Rail Network Set to Return to Full Service by End of November
Queensland's south-east rail network is set to return to full service by the end of November after a long-running pay dispute between the state government and unions was resolved. The agreement will see 91 per cent of services restored from October 12, with all services expected to be back on track by the end of November.

The dispute, which had been ongoing since May, resulted in reduced services and frequent delays for commuters. However, after negotiations in the Fair Work Commission, an in-principal agreement has been reached between Queensland Rail (QR) and seven unions.
Service Rollout
Transport minister Brent Mickelberg said trains would return to a normal timetable in a staged rollout from next month.
